Tumbleweed South
(For campers entering grades PK-1)
Nestled in the foothills of Kenter Canyon, is designed to foster growth and development in a safe and nurturing environment.
Activities are child centered, emphasize social development and teach new skills. Your child must be four years old in order to attend camp. Here are a few highlights of our program:
Horseback Riding - Howdy partner! Here our 1st grade campers learn good horsemanship and experience the thrill of
horseback riding in our expanded equestrian center.
Swimming - Whether you are learning to swim or perfecting a new stroke, you get to go swimming every day in our heated
pool. With Red-Cross certified Lifeguards and Instructors, you will learn new skills and there is always time for a little free
swim. "Sharks… Minnows… Swim!"
Junior Climbing Center - Designed specifically for younger climbers, this low level course will help campers gain
confidence and experience adventure in a safe setting. The area includes a horizontal climbing wall, cargo nets, a rope bridge,
zip line and more!
Music and Motion - Children develop confidence while they learn camp songs and explore music and movement through
creative play. This dynamic program includes face painting, puppetry and acting using rhythm instruments, costumes and props.
Tuckerville - Ride tricycles through a mini city including a fire department, police station, post office and play house
complete with roads that will lead campers wherever they want to go.
Play Central - The Inflatable Jumbo will have campers bounce to their heart's content inside a giant elephant, or
they can climb through Joyce's Jungle, or rock side to side, then round-n-round on our famous Tumblewheel.
